Scotland v Italy

Sunday, February 27th, 2005

I managed to get tickets for the Scotland v Italy rugby game yesterday played at Murrayfeild. To make things better, they were the best type of tickets they were free :D I did take some photos, click here to see em

It was a dull game at the best of times, but at least we won, I just hope Ireland beat England today so england are in the running for the wooden spoon…. that would be sweet ;)

SNP Back Jim Baxter

Thursday, February 24th, 2005

SNP MP for North Tayside, Mr Pete Wishart, has today backed a campaign by the Tartan Army to have part of the new Wembley stadium named after Scotland football legend, Jim Baxter. He has submitted a motion in the House of Commons to have the bridge named after the football legend in recognition of the genius of ’slim Jim’.

The London Development Agency is undertaking an online vote to choose a name for the footbridge at the new Wembley Stadium. The Tartan Army are campaigning to have the bridge named after Jim Baxter.

I have voted with all my available email addys, plus created some new cludgie addys just for this occasion. As many as 90% of the 80,000 votes have gone to Baxter, Is this true? Can some one conform? It was a post on the Tartan Army Message Board, would be cool it is right

Snow

Wednesday, February 23rd, 2005

Its snowing, has been on and off for the past few days. Last night it must have been a heavy snow fall everything was white, on my way to work (hoping that I would be snowed out) I thought take some snaps of the castle in the snow no such luck the damm thing would not turn on, hopefully its just the batteries. unfortunately I was not snowed out of work. (I wanted to return home to bed)

Over the past few days I have been thinking of moving host, I may have mentioned it before but is it worth it? as I have two domains it would be easier as I could keep this site up while I migrate the databases. Hmmmm…. something to ponder. I need somthing to do…..

Vote Baxter

Sunday, February 20th, 2005

The London Development Agency has launched a competition to name its new state-of-the-art footbridge in Wembley. Of course, they could name it after a english sportsman but where would the fun be in that? we need some Scottish influence doon there. The Jim Baxter Memorial Bridge has a rather nice ring to it. So get clicking Here and put down Jim Baxter, wembley legend. Its actualy got some momentum behind it as its made the BBC news site but you can also get the view from the Tatran army board

Lets think, thinking of a upgrade, in a computer store, just after pay day. well wont take a genius to figure out I bought it, almost bought a bundle of other stuff also but managed to stop at the DVD’s and memory.
