I am considering changing my email, simply due to the fact that mark @ cludgie one is just a spam magnet, I may try and configure spam assassin first. anyhoo if you sent me mail and i never replied, send it again but replace mark with something else, i.e. something(at)cludgie(dot)co(dot)uk But obviously replace the (at) and (dot) with the real things

The previous post made no sense, I think I rushed it. anyhoo festival shows continue saw Adam Hills last night, show had a wee bit old content through it but still a good show another one I would recommend, you have to go just to hear the bit about Disney. It’s funny because he is another person who remembers us; we were called the festival stalkers I am sure it’s meant in a nice way. (Just because we have always done loads during the festival over the past several years, honest )
Also the Pleasance got evacuated for no apparent reason. I wonder how many shows ran late
2 working days left untill I am on holiday for 2 weeks…. Ahhh cannae wait.
Should have posted before now, but having no pc access at work for the past few days and being feeling totaly nackerd at home, I have not really had a chance.
Went to see a few more things at the festival. Went to see Richard Pryor live, I did think it was odd the show was being shown in the cinema, but no It was not live it was a bloody recording from 1979, nowhere on the ticket or site did it mention this. I was disappointed. on the same night we saw Rich Hall with his Otis Lee Crenshaw personality, new show this year was a very good show. Also Mickey D is a enjoyable show, well worth a look
On a side note… Boxing Danny Williams beat Mike Tyson; all of a sudden this Danny Character wants a shot at a world title, cos he knocked out Tyson. Remember Tyson is not what he was in 1986, Danny Williams could never even dream of beating him then because of this he now has false hopes and will get a rude awakening soon
I got my router, a linksys this company is owned buy Cisco Systems, so right off you think it has to be pretty good. well so far so good, took under 5 minutes to install, as this pc is set up to obtain a IP from the DHCP we just powered down the modem, hooked it to the Router, rebooted the modem and that’s it. The pc had IP. Now when I try to configure it for IRC nad xddc send that will be the test. so far pretty much most proggies have worked.
May go to more Festival Stuff tomorrow. Also its Fringe Sunday on Sunday believe it or not, Yeah the day confused me also
Well that’s the festival pretty much started, went to see our first show “Reginald D Hunter” first night of this show so technically its just a preview, in his own words its pretty much 90% right. If it is only 90%, it is still a very good show, very funny, we actually met Reg a few years back he is a good person. I would recommend it.
Also noticed that the old gym i used to use is up for sale, The Edinburgh Club on Hillside Crescent is up for offers over £275,000, would love that place tad out of my price range I think
Seems everywhere I go there is a computer that somebody wants fixed. Working in IT you deal with these problems pretty much all day, you come home your family have problems with there computers you think you get them fixed… but there is always something, sometimes makes you want to scream. BTW, I am aware of the irony of using a computer to say how pissed of I am with them

I have a show in the Festival tonight, can’t believe its here already I have the last two weeks in August off, so I am kinda looking forward to that
As with the last post I still have another box to go through and probably chuck stuff out. Found some old 486-100 & dx120 processors, some old 32pin SIMMs. Why did I ever keep that crap? Maybe it was still good when I boxed it away and forgot about it.
