Listing to something about the Edinburgh Fringe Festival on the radio. It was recorded during the festival in August this year, makes me kinda wish it was that time again, I do love that time of year. So I have added a Festival section in my forum.
Well it is Christmas time, festival season some may so Happy Christmas.
Well even though they moved the Generator, you could still heat it just a little, good news is the damm thing is gone now. More good news is that tomorrow is the last day of work until January 5th

When I came home last night the Generator was still there, so we made some more phone calls, more promises were made however nothing came of it. Also had my sisters PC here to fix, so I imagined that it was gonnna be one of those nights. Well I did get the PC fixed relatively fast and without problem, that was a plus. But the generator was still there, I needed sleep so I figured it I get drunk that will help me sleep. Don’t work that way does it.
Anyway the generator was moved this morning, and ironically enough the lights now no longer work. better not move it back
I don’t know what this company view of ASAP is, but that fucking generator is still there, still buzzing away, I am still without sleep and to be honest I am pissed off about it all. Every time we phone up it always ends the same way, promises to move it (they don’t). They guy who we spoke to yesterday said something about an receiving a objection card via the mail, “you must have received one” WTF, course I didn’t get one. Yeah a noisy generator outside my bedroom window yes please where do I sign up … ya bunch of eejits!
of course things come in three, last night my sisters computer decided to die. Late phone call, I actually went there pretty late thinking since I have a ghost image of it easy peasy fix? NO, the bloody CD cant be read . So i have the fun job or re-installing the whole OS probably this weekend, in the meantime she is of with my laptop so I guess its not that urgent, but I want to get it done.

Just as I thought, the buzzz noise from that generator did keep me awake all night, I feel like crap just now. No sleep and not a very good rest. When I did call the number on the thing, they did say that they would move it ASAP (that was 10ish last night), better be moved by the time I get home.
Yesterday around five-ish, they started, workmen throwing things against the pavement turns out they were going to dig up the road and lay new water pipes or something. No big deal as there is always road works near my house. BUT the silly buggers have put the generator of the temporary traffic lights about 4 feet from my bedroom window, so its 6 feet from my head, burrr, buzzz all night? I have phoned the company they said they will move it ASAP, we will see.
Bought myself a couple of books The Baghdad Blog, by Salam Pax. its a blog from when the war in Iraq started. and Rich Hall, Things Snowball. both should be an interesting read.
